Kainuu Horse Safaris organises short nature rides for small groups on Icelandic horses all year round. There are one-hour walking rides for customers with no riding skills, and two-hour rides in all gaits are also available to hobbyists. Come and experience the nature of Kainuu together with an Icelandic horse!
Duration of programme service/activity: 1 hour or 2 hours.
One-hour ride
Our sweet tempered horses are happy to take you to the woods for a steady ride and welcome you to relax in the soul-soothing peace of the forest. All skill levels. Age limits: 12 years for novice and beginner level riders, 10 years for intermediate riders, 12 years for experienced riders.
Price 50 €/person (incl. VAT 10%).
Two-hour ride
During the winter we sometimes ride parts of the journey in deep snow while in the summertime you can enjoy the scent of the warm heathland and follow along the paths of the wild forest reindeer. Skill levels beginner and up. Age limits: 12 years for beginner level riders, 10 years for intermediate riders, 12 years for experienced riders.
